Horizontal auger boring is still
a tried and true method for utility installation. Over the past half century, Gene Miller developed many of
the auger boring techniques that have become the industry standards today.
Miller The Driller's leadership in auger boring is evident in our long list of successful auger drives —
many in excess of 400 feet. A high degree of accuracy also describes the Miller The Driller history in auger bores.
We take pride in sending you experienced crews and well maintained machines. All come completely outfitted with
every piece of necessary equipment for diameters from 8" to 60". You'll receive instructions on pit preparation,
length, width, depth, and so on — prior to the job. We'll inspect it prior to drilling to make sure it's safe and
ready for our crew.
Miller The Driller also has four safety boxes available — to meet OSHA requirements for pit safety.
In addition to auger boring, we offer extrusion drilling, for soil dewatering and horizontal drains. When
easements or access are limited, a light and compact machine could be the answer. Whether in the wide open spaces
or in tight quarters, our extrusion drilling rig can provide bores from 2" to 24".
